Check-In
All athletes should check-in at least an hour prior to their estimated wave time.
Each athlete will receive a t-shirt, a race bib, a bike bib, and an ankle timer. Each athlete will also be marked with a sharpie with their race number and lap counters.
Ankle timers can be strapped to either foot and must remain on for the entire race. Race bibs will need to be attached to either a shirt or a race bib and must be worn for the Bike and Run portions of the race. The Bike bib must be attached to the front of the athlete’s bike. Helmets must be worn by all athletes during the bike portion.
Swim – Bike – Run
Athletes will be sorted into Waves to start their race. Approximate wave times will be available before race day.
The Swim portion will come first. Athletes will swim either 1, 3, or 5 laps in the pool, depending on age group. Once finished, they will exit the pool and make their way through the back gate of the pool deck to the staging area where their bike is parked. All athletes must wear shoes and a racing bib (attached to either a shirt or a racing belt) for the remainder of the race.
The Bike portion is next. Athletes will follow the bike route to the bike trail and complete the bike circuit. Once they have finished the circuit they will return to the bike staging area, park their bike, and transition to the running loop.
The Run loop is the last portion of the triathlon. Athletes will complete either 1 or 4 laps around the baseball field, receiving a mark after each. After their final loop, they will make their way across the finish line.
Medals
All athletes will receive a medal upon completion of their race.
1st/2nd/3rd place medals will also be awarded for each age group.
